What is the Acti Wheel?
The Acti Wheel is the shortcut wheel on Acti's keyboard. Hold the space bar, slide, release: it's the place where what you mean becomes what gets done, inside any app.

One keyboard, two modes
The shortcut wheel on Acti's keyboard. Hold the space bar to open it, slide to Acti AI or one of your Acts, and release to run it. Acti works on the text you typed and shows the result in the keyboard.
It's the answer to a simple problem: the keyboard is the one surface present in every app you type in, so it's the natural place to put an agent. The Acti Wheel makes that agent one gesture away, everywhere.
The top of the keyboard switches between Type and Act. Type is the keyboard you know. Act opens the Act Panel, where every Act you add appears; tap one to run it. The Acti Wheel is the faster route to the ones you use most, and you can also assign an Act to a trigger key and hold that key to run it. Both shortcuts are optional.
Earlier versions of Acti called this hold-to-act control the Acti Bar.
Type. Hold. Slide. Release.
Type
Type normally. Autocorrect, voice and languages all work like the keyboard you already use.
Hold
Hold the space bar to open the Acti Wheel.
Slide
Slide to Acti AI or to one of the Acts you added to your Wheel.
Release
Release to run it. Acti works on the text you typed and shows the result in the keyboard. Depending on the Act, it replaces your text, inserts at the cursor or shows a preview, and it asks for confirmation before acting in a connected app.
The action layer the keyboard never had
Every other keyboard stops at text. Acti adds an action layer on top of typing, so the same surface that produces your words can also finish your tasks: working with your connected apps, drawing on 300+ connections to apps and APIs, or running an Act you created.
Because it lives in the keyboard, it works in every app without integrations on their side: messages, email, notes, browsers, anywhere there's a text field.
Acti Wheel FAQ
What is the Acti Wheel?
The Acti Wheel is the shortcut wheel on Acti's keyboard. Hold the space bar to open it, slide to Acti AI or one of your Acts, and release to run it, like drafting a reply or creating a meeting link, inside any app.
How do I run an Act?
There are three ways. Tap Act at the top of the keyboard and choose an Act from the Act Panel. Hold the space bar to open the Acti Wheel, slide to an Act and release. Or, if you assigned an Act to a trigger key, hold that key.
Do I have to set up the Acti Wheel or a trigger key?
No. Every Act you add appears in the Act Panel on your keyboard. Adding an Act to your Acti Wheel or assigning it to a trigger key is optional, for the Acts you use most.
Does the Acti Wheel work in every app?
Yes. Because it's part of the keyboard, the Acti Wheel works in any app with a text field: messages, email, notes, browsers and more.
Is the Acti Wheel the same as the Acti Bar?
Earlier versions of Acti called the hold-to-act control the Acti Bar. In the current app you hold the space bar to open the Acti Wheel, and your Acts live in the Act Panel.
Is Acti free?
Acti is free to download on iOS and Android, with a Free plan and Acti Pro.
